Complete Your PADI Open Water Certification in Southern California

Already completed your PADI Open Water Diver academics and confined water (pool) training?

The PADI Open Water Diver Referral Course allows you to complete the required Open Water Dives 1–4 with Orange County Divers and earn your internationally recognized PADI Open Water Diver certification.

Whether you're traveling to Southern California or transferring from another PADI Dive Center, we'll help you finish your certification safely and efficiently.

Looking for the complete Open Water Diver Course?

This product is only for referral students who have already completed the academic and confined water portions of their training.

If you have not started your certification, please enroll in our PADI Open Water Diver Course instead.

Choose the Training Option That's Right for You

We offer two referral options:

• Group Referral Course – Complete your ocean dives alongside other student divers during scheduled classes.
• Private Referral Course – Enjoy one-on-one instruction with flexible scheduling and personalized coaching.

What You'll Complete

During this course you will complete:

• Open Water Dive 1
• Open Water Dive 2
• Open Water Dive 3
• Open Water Dive 4

Upon successful completion and verification of your referral paperwork, you'll earn your PADI Open Water Diver Certification.

Boat Dive Upgrade Available

Your referral dives are normally completed from shore at carefully selected Southern California dive sites.

If you would like to complete your certification dives from a dive boat, you may purchase our Open Water Boat Dive Upgrade separately for an unforgettable training experience.

What You'll Need

Before your first dive, please provide:

• Your completed PADI Referral Form (or qualifying referral documentation)
• Proof of completed academics and confined water training
• Required personal scuba equipment (or arrange rentals)
• Medical clearance if required
