How the Program Works

Step 1 — Complete PADI ReActivate™ eLearning

Review important scuba knowledge from your Open Water Diver course using PADI's interactive online learning platform.

Study anytime on your:

• Computer
• Tablet
• Smartphone

You'll refresh topics including:

• Dive planning
• Equipment
• Buoyancy
• Safety procedures
• Dive theory
• Problem prevention
• Underwater communication

Complete the knowledge review at your own pace before your pool session.

Step 2 — Pool Refresher Session

Meet with one of our experienced PADI Instructors for an instructor-led pool refresher.

During your approximately two-hour confined water session, you'll practice:

• Equipment assembly
• Predive safety checks
• Buoyancy control
• Mask clearing
• Regulator recovery
• Emergency procedures
• Underwater communication
• Hovering and trim
• General diving techniques

Our instructors tailor each refresher to your individual experience level and comfort.
