The XS Scuba Phantom SL BC is a feature-rich weight-integrated back-inflation buoyancy compensator engineered for comfort, balance, and improved trim underwater. Designed around XS Scuba’s innovative “Spread Your Lead” concept, the Phantom SL redistributes weight higher on the diver’s body to create a more balanced, streamlined diving experience.

Unlike traditional weight systems that concentrate lead around the waist, the Phantom SL incorporates integrated shoulder weight pockets that allow divers to move up to 8 lbs. of weight forward, helping improve body position and buoyancy control underwater.

A heavy-duty internal polyethylene chassis extends into the shoulders to comfortably support the shoulder-mounted weight pockets while maintaining excellent structure and stability. Combined with a lowered tank band and back-inflation design, the Phantom SL keeps the cylinder positioned close to the body, making the tank feel lighter and improving overall trim.

The Catch n’ Release™ weight system offers simple loading with secure visual, audible, and tactile confirmation, while still allowing fast emergency ditching with a single pull for added safety.

Designed for comfort in all conditions, the Phantom SL features swivel shoulder buckles, enlarged thumb loops for gloved divers, increased back padding, and a lowered waistband-integrated tank band that transfers cylinder weight directly to the hips.

The BC comes standard with the XS Scuba Micro Inflator, with an optional MultiMax breathable inflator upgrade available.
