When conditions get rough, visibility matters. The XS Scuba 7’ Surface Marker Buoy (SMB) is built for strong currents, heavy boat traffic, and low-visibility environments, delivering maximum height, stability, and visibility when you need it most.

At 7 feet (2.1 m) tall with a large 15” circumference (5” diameter), this SMB stands upright even in challenging conditions, making it significantly easier for surface support and boats to spot. Constructed from mil-spec, urethane-backed nylon, it offers exceptional durability and long-term performance in demanding dive environments.

Designed for versatility, the SMB features an anti-spill bottom with internal baffle for easy inflation from any second stage, along with a combination oral and BC quick-disconnect inflator for flexible deployment options. A 2” overpressure relief valve (OPV) with manual pull ensures safe pressure management during ascent.

With 50 lbs of positive lift, this SMB doubles as a lift device when needed. Additional features like a step-thru leg harness, lifting handle, and multiple stainless steel D-rings make it highly functional for a wide range of diving applications.

For enhanced visibility, SOLAS reflective tape on both sides and an elastic loop for chemical light attachment ensure you can be seen in low-light or emergency conditions.
