The PADI Deep Diver Specialty Course gives you the knowledge, confidence, and practical experience to safely explore depths of up to 40 meters (130 feet).

At Orange County Divers, you'll learn advanced diving techniques under the supervision of experienced PADI Professionals while exploring some of Southern California's most exciting deep-water dive sites.

If you've completed your PADI Adventure Diver certification (or higher) and are at least 15 years old, you're ready to discover what lies deeper beneath the surface.

What You'll Learn

Through independent study, instructor-led academics, and four open water training dives, you'll develop the skills needed to safely plan and conduct deep recreational dives.

Training includes:

• Planning and organizing deep dives
• Gas consumption and air management at depth
• Advanced buoyancy and trim techniques
• Buddy communication and contact procedures
• Understanding and recognizing nitrogen narcosis
• Managing depth-related risks
• Emergency procedures for deep diving
