For over seven years, SeaDive has developed and tested anti-reflective (ARC) mask coatings on tempered glass. Standard tempered glass typically reflects at least 4% of light, which can distort underwater vision. SeaDive’s ARC coatings, however, allow nearly 100% of light to reach the diver’s eyes. SeaDive uses an exclusive process to create these unique mask coatings.

RayBlocker-HD coatings enable almost complete light transmission, providing high-definition (HD) vision underwater. Light entering the lens is refined by Sharper Image Technology, unique to RayBlocker, for a brighter and sharper image. This coating also reduces harmful UV rays and glare. The inside blue tint further reduces eye strain, ensuring comfortable viewing.

TrueColor coatings also allow nearly full light passage, offering clear vision underwater. The blue mirror coating on the outside reduces harmful UV rays and glare. Some lenses feature a rose tint inside, which filters out blue light to make warm colors like reds, oranges, and yellows more pronounced and vibrant. Other lenses have a yellow tint, making the environment seem brighter and providing better contrast.

SeaDive also offers Hydrophobic coatings that use nano-technology to smooth even the smallest imperfections in the glass. This process leaves the glass surface extremely slick, preventing even tiny water vapor droplets from sticking. As a result, droplets don’t form on the glass when surfacing, allowing clear vision. Additionally, the inside of the mask resists fogging, offering the best fog resistance among all SeaDive masks.
