The Shearwater Petrel Aluminum Protective Case is a precision-engineered protection system designed to enhance durability and impact resistance for the Shearwater Petrel 2 and the new Petrel 3 dive computers. Developed specifically for Generation 2 and 3 Petrel models, this titanium-style aluminum protector improves side and edge protection while maintaining full access and usability.

The updated design eliminates the need to remove or modify the Petrel’s porthole screws during installation. Instead, the case securely covers nearly 10 mm of the original housing, providing improved side protection and a precise, stable fit. A bungee retention system ensures the protector remains securely in place while allowing for quick, tool-free removal when cleaning or servicing is required.

Machined from solid marine-grade aluminum and anodized for corrosion resistance, this protector is built to withstand demanding technical, cave, wreck, and expedition diving environments.
