Whether you're preparing for an upcoming dive trip, sharpening your scuba skills, testing new equipment, or simply looking for additional time underwater, Pool Day gives you access to a controlled pool environment with Orange County Divers instructional staff available to help.

Our Pool Days are designed for certified divers, students preparing for upcoming courses, divers returning to the water, and anyone who wants additional practice before their next diving adventure.
Work on the skills that matter to you. Practice buoyancy and trim, refresh mask and regulator skills, review emergency procedures, become familiar with new equipment, or simply spend some time underwater rebuilding comfort and confidence.
Pool Day Activities
- Practice scuba skills with instructor supervision
- Improve buoyancy, trim, and overall comfort underwater
- Practice mask, regulator, and emergency skills
- Prepare for an upcoming scuba certification course
- Test or become familiar with new scuba equipment
- Get additional pool time before an upcoming dive trip
- Meet Orange County Divers instructors and other local divers
- Learn about upcoming classes, dive trips, and local diving opportunities
- Complete a PADI ReActivate® Scuba Refresher when purchased separately

We've made Pool Day easy to book based on what equipment you already own.
Pool Only
You provide all of your own scuba equipment, including your cylinder.
Pool + Aluminum Cylinder Rental
Pool access plus one rental aluminum scuba cylinder.
Pool + Steel Cylinder Rental
Pool access plus one rental steel scuba cylinder.
Pool + Scuba Equipment Rental
Need some of the major scuba equipment? Select this option for Pool Day access plus rental scuba equipment.
Pool + Full Rental Kit
Don't have your own gear? Select the Full Rental Kit option for Pool Day access and a complete rental equipment package.
Rental equipment is subject to availability and appropriate sizing. Please provide requested equipment sizes when registering.

PADI ReActivate® Scuba Refresher
Haven't been diving for a while?
You can use Pool Day to complete the in-water portion of your PADI ReActivate® Scuba Refresher with one of our instructors.
PADI ReActivate is sold separately and must be arranged in advance.
What to Bring
Everyone should bring:
- Swimsuit
- Towel
- Certification card
- Any personal scuba equipment you plan to use
- Your scuba cylinder if you selected Pool Only
- Water and anything else you need for a comfortable day at the pool
If you've selected one of our rental options, we'll coordinate the appropriate equipment with you before Pool Day.
Why Attend Pool Day?
Pool Day isn't another certification course unless you've specifically scheduled training with us. It's an opportunity to get underwater and work on you.
Practice the skills you want to improve. Get comfortable with your equipment. Work with our instructional staff. Prepare for your next course or trip. Or just enjoy spending a few hours underwater with other local divers.
