Built for demanding offshore and technical diving environments, the XS Scuba 10' Surface Marker Buoy (SMB) delivers exceptional surface visibility, lift capacity, and reliability when diving in rough seas, current, or areas with heavy boat traffic.

At an impressive 10 feet long with a 22-inch circumference, this expedition-grade SMB provides outstanding visibility at the surface while still remaining compact enough to carry during dives. Its large profile helps improve diver location and safety during drift dives, decompression stops, offshore diving, and emergency surface signaling situations.

The buoy provides approximately 75 lbs of surface lift, making it suitable for signaling, flotation support, and technical diving applications.

A baffled anti-spill bottom helps retain air and maintain buoyancy even in rough surface conditions. Inflation options include both an oral inflator and a BC quick disconnect inflator connection for flexible deployment methods underwater.

For pressure management and safety, the SMB includes a large 2-inch over-pressure valve (OPV) with pull cord for manual release.

Three bands of highly visible 3M SOLAS reflective tape improve visibility during low-light conditions and nighttime operations.

Additional technical diving features include:

• Stainless steel D-ring at the top for strobe attachment
• Elastic chemical light stick holder
• 20” lift harness with stainless steel D-ring

The SMB includes a durable 6.5” x 14” mesh carry pouch with grommets designed for backplate attachment (HL085). Mounting hardware is not included.
